The Fourth of July 2005

Had a great weekend with friends. Had The Munshis, The Bose’s and Kamal over for the day on Saturday. Stayed around the house mostly the first two days while Liz helped with the yard and clean-up, and Persy helped cook. When Cyrus, Hoshu, Nevyle, Hilla Ma and Boman Uncle came over on Friday, July 1, they chipped in too.

Had Ranadip, Swasti, Rohil and Kamal over for the day on Saturday. Dawn arrived later in the day to spend the rest of the weekend with us too.

On Sunday, spent most of the early part of the day in the basement, clearing the sewer backup in the basement. Was quite a task, with a lot of help from Cyrus and Persy, while the rest took care of the house. Got it fixed by 7pm on Sunday.

Monday, after dropping Persy, Liz and Dawn to their respective airports, spent the rest of the evening with Kamal. Saw “War of the Worlds” and had dinner at Big Bowl in Schaumburg. Was a fun day.
